this is not a mileage complaint....I'm perfectly happy with a lifted cinder block and bigger tires. So I got out of the USMC and totally changes driving habits, all highway now, then I put 245/70 revos, then I put on the lift and changed my spark plugs which reset the ECU because the battery was unplugged for awhile. I ran the tires without noticable change, then after rusty's susp lift and uridiums dropped to 14mpg. 2k miles later and its back all the sudden, like one fill up its 14 and four days later to fill it up its back at around 18 and holding strong since. anyone have an idea on the practically over night change? |

Could have just been a bad tank (or two) of gasoline if you refilled at the same station more than once during the recent spat with lower than "normal" MPG. Could also be from the winter months, if you let your vehicle warm up for too long during the morning - that, obviously, is wasted gasoline.. |

the bad mpg lasted about 2000 miles and then one day noticed I've been on this tank for more than 4 days. I've had the same routine for 5 months, so you notice when its time to pick up more smokes and fill up. stopped in at the local Quicktrip and avg. about 17 and its been the same since. |
