I am sure this is common knowledge to all of you Jeep veterans out there, but for the noobs, how do you get the thing to flash the check engine error code? |

Found it. Looks like an O2 sensor is going out. |

When I get a CEL (Check engine light) I stop the jeep, pop the hood and 9 times out of 10 it's still there. I don't think that you can get the light to flash anymore. I remember doing it with my NO-BD 1991 honda CRX, but I think that with OBD I and II it has been replaced with a plug and software, Autozone will scan the OBD system for you for free. -Mark |

Yup, the engine is still there. It looks like it is the "Oxygen sensor not closing properly" P1196 |
