I would like it if the cut outs in the skid were'nt tapered. They clash with the geometry of the straight 7 slot grill. |

I talked to a body shop guy and said having a bull bar or grille guard can make your vehicle have more damage in a small 5-10 mph crash (ex. hitting a car in front of you at a stop sign). Since the guard is installed on bolts, once you collide, the bar pushes against your jeep damaging other parts like the hood where normally wouldn't be touched during a small crash. Other than that I love the look of the bull bar. |

I had heard that too, but I had the Safari light bar on my Tacoma when I rear ended someone and that thing only had a small dent, the rest of the truck was toast. |

I've seen several of these on vehicles around here and the do indeed look like they would bend into the hood in a light crunch. I worry about that with my Mopoor Brush Guard. Also, all the westin ones I've seen result in the loss or almost total covering of the front license plate. In NY a front plate is req'd and I could see this resulting in tickets. Just something to consider. |

I can attest for the extra damage, going 2 mph and hitting into the back of someones metal bumper cracked my front fascia, bent the corner of my hood and cracked the peice that held the top of the bar to under the hood. |
