| Post subject: | Rear Windshield Wiper Question |
I thought it was only me but I have noticed that a lot of KJ's don't have clean glass after using the wiper. There is always a section where it streaks. Anyone have this problem and been able to fix it? Even new blades don't help mine. Terry |

Do what I did, took mine off at 250 miles and threw it up in the top of the garage, keep the rear window waxed good and I have never had any problems. Seems like any of the rear window wipers on most all vehicles streak and I cant stand it. |

Mine wipes clean every time - just go to the dealership and get the Liberty specific rear wiper blade to replace your original one and you'll never have any problems with visibility. |

I've got about 65K miles on the KJ and my factory rear wiper still works great. I drive in the rain and snow all the time. Here in Western New York it's a requirement with all the snow and slush that accumulates on the rear window. I use Rain-X as well on both windshield and rear window with positive results. I also use the washer fluid additive with Rain-X in it to supplement the glass wipes. Maybe this is why my wiper has lasted so long, as dirt, snow, ice and water come right off with one swipe. |

No problems with my rear wiper.....just use a few extra squares and no streaks...... ...in your drawers. oops! I meant to say that my rear windshield wiper works great. Original at 33k. |

Well here is an Idea, Quote: sleeve84028 said that his works great. go get his.
Mine does the streak thing. I deal with it plus I have a bread tie wrap holding mine in place. I can not find blades that fit the rear window and with a locking peice. |

I tried new blades from a dealer...no go. Same problem. I just rain-x'd it, so we will see. I suppose it could be a bad arm. I really liked the idea of pitching it Terry |
