Just curious. When you all are driving around town out of all the KJs you see how often do you see a 4x4 KJ? I hardly ever see them unless I count mine lol. The dealer that I bought mine at has 4 DC lots and is the largest among dealers on Oahu, they have Ford, DC, and others I am sure. I bought the last brand new 2005 4x4 KJ that they had last June. They have some used though. Justin P.S. This is my first Jeep, I guess I was a little naive at first and thought most Jeeps were a 4x4. At least as far as Grand Cherokees and KJ's go, I figured most people would want a 4x4. Just most I see are 4x2. |

Wow, I need to get one of those Jeep 2x4's. I bet they would make a killer patio. I see about 50/50. The only 4x2's I ever see are KJ's though. |

I see more 4x4 than 4x2 in central Illinois, but no idea how much more. When I was looking for a KJ on the lot I'd say about 30% were 4x2. |

haha didn't realise my mistake, I've been up since two am please forgive. I wonder if not many are getting shipped to Hawaii. Most of the Grand Cherokees I saw on the lot were 4x2. I later was at the lot getting my KJ looked at and I saw some used ones, 3 were the same all had california plates and fleet written all over them. Justin |

In Colorado, it is silly to get a 2-wheel drive Jeep. So far, I have not seen a single 4x2 Jeep in Colorado. Lucky? Perhaps. I do look at every KJ I see on the road and parked. |

I don't think I've seen many two wheel drive KJ's around Chicago? Most SUV owners around here buy 4X4's due to winter weather. |

Tokyojoe I'm glad you said that, I was getting worried that I was the only one checking out every Liberty that drove by or that is parked. I can totally see how the obsession develops, especially when you are thinking of ways to upgrade your own. FYI - I dont see too many 2X4's here either. I kind of agree with Hammer, I would think most people in the market for an SUV would prefer a 4X4. |

I also check out every Liberty that I see, all I have seen so far are stock. There really are no weather conditions in Hawaii that would regularly require 4x4 for anybody. Unless we get hit by a Typhoon, might need a boat for that though. Justin |

about 75/25 around here, in favor of 4X4. I see alot of 4X2 Grand Cherokee's actually, which surprises me. Something that big, might as well go ahead and get 4X4, same with the X-Terra's, see ALOT of 2X4's of them runnin around. About 75/25 on the Cherokee's too. We can get some pretty nasty snow storms around here, so 4X4 is needed almost yearly. |

I've never looked to see if they are 4x4 or not. 95% around here are soccer moms so it doesn't really matter. I did notice one yesterday with a playboy bunny sticker on the back glass. Of course I tried catching up to her (I confirmed that much in her mirrors) but the traffic was too heavy. |

I see mostly 4x4s around here. It is a rarity to see a 4x2. |

Fouros, No rear-wheel drives? So the KJ is front wheel drive in Australia? |
