Are there any advantages, or disadvantages between these 2 lift systems? Other than a price difference.

Frankenlift has the strut already put together, rusty's is separate. The price difference doesnt cover that though, you can have both Rusty's struts put together for $50

Oh no, not this again...

OK, I recommend a search to find the myriad of threads that go over this, but....

Rusty's is a great kit. Most say it's the best bang for your buck in lifting options. I've installed a few with Eddo, and they are simple enough if you have a spring compressor, or take the struts to get them done.

Frankenlift is the more expensive by a few hundred bucks. I don't have the new rear shocks, but they are supposed to rock. The install is easier since the front is pre-assembled.

Now, beyond fact: I think the Franky gives a slightly taller lift, and I think the components look "beefier". However, I had also decided to get a Rusty's until someone sold a 6 week old Franky for the price of a Rusty's. The bottom line is how much $ do you have to spend and what do you want to do with it...

Both great! Both have SMALL advantages over the other. Both have SMALL disadvantages.

Rusty's great price and very few issues.
Frankie costs more but you sit higher than it's rated lift height.
Rusty's shocks come with washers to add to the mount since they are not the exact width for the mount. Not an issue for most.
Frankie may need to get new upper control arms to reduce coil rubbing. Not an issue for most.

Rusty's Lift owner since Oct 04.
