for the peeps who had the wrangler mt/r's on stock rims, then got the moabs with the mt/r's on them ~ did anyone notice road noise increase? i put the moabs on yesterday, as soon as i started rolling to the store, i could tell this tire and rim combo were louder.. increased noise wouldnt be caused by the different backspacing would it? just curious, i really dont mind having loud tires... |

thaz kewl... i travel the same route every day to work, and its crazy how much louder they are.. i like howling down the road though, you start enjoying that sound after a while. the ones i have mounted now will howl like a bear from 35 to 50.. when you go by a concrete barrier over a bridge or whatever, the sound bouncing off the barrier is defening!! yeah baby! |

I haven't noticed any increase in noise but I do have a CRD which is drowning out the noise of my MTR's. I have notice when tire shops rotate my MTR's they will make excessive road noise for the first thousand miles or so but it is not annoying if you rotate the tires every 3k miles |

Rotate, rotate, rotate!! I notice more noise if I do not rotate the MTRs every 2000 to 3000 miles.also shakes the front end. Checked the allinment and balance? I love the noise! make the Libby sound like a miny monster!! |
