Does anyone know where I might be able to get a trans pan with a drain plug in it? I am going to change the fluid and the old one is getting pretty rusted (rust bubbles all over it). Just want to replace with one that I can drain rather than drop the pan every time.

You can buy drain plugs and install them in the pan. Ive never see a pan for a libby with a plug already in it.

You could just sand and repaint the pan. Wouldnt take 30min with prep. 8)

The rust is looking pretty bad. It isn't just light surface rust.I live in one of the more snowy parts of the country and we get salted all the time to include the day before yesterday. I would really like to replace the pan. I may just buy a pan from the dealer and install a plug.

Auto parts stores sell specialty plugs for exactly what you want. Look in the section of the store that carries oil pan plugs. There are several to chose from. They are very low profile plugs because most of the time there is very little clearance inside the pan.
Basically, you remove the pan, drill a hole, insert plug, install the thin nut on the inside to hold the plug permanently. The plug and nut, and a washer comes in the package for just a few bucks. I've seen the on eBay as well but I can't currently locate one. Good luck if you do this keep us posted.
