i was on the Quadratec web page and saw the new 07' Wranler bumper..... now here's the Big Q!, does anyone think the AEV bumper will fit a Liberty. Maybe the sides under the flares needs to be fab'd a bit higher? The new wrangler grill and marker lights line up with the 06'/07' liberty's grill and 3" driving lights...... someone must of tried this....... ?[/img]http://www.quadratec.com/products/product_search.php?cn=AEV+Front+Bumpers%2C+Front+Bumper+Skid+Plate+%26+Tow+Hook&c=&pn=12049+100%2C12049+1000%2C12049+103%2C12049+102&h=&spg=t

If you like this bumper, you should check out ARB's Bull Bar bumper which I've seen for less than the AEV one. Not to mention it is made specifically for the Liberty, so no modding would be necessary (and it looks BAD-A$$ to  ).

Looks like the AEV could get real heavy after adding the winch plate and recovery points etc. Spendy also.

Well, the bumper itself MIGHT fit (but you have to factor in different mounting widths, etc..). I know that you wouldn't be able to use that winch location, thought. The horizontal section of the uniframe goes right across where the AEV has the winch mount.

Have you checked the "backbone" system in the vendor area? if you want to make something attach, the backbone might be a good place to start fab-bing from.
