So I'm looking long term for the KJ and thinking of a fender mod that would eliminate the turn signals...

The replacement turn signal i'm looking at is the JK turn signal that seems to be about the same size as little fog light hole that I'm not using in my grill...

What you guys think about that, might make it interesting for those looking to do custom front bumpers or front fenders perhaps???

Here's the fog lamp area i'm talking about...

That can be replaced with the turn signal from the JK here...

That could be interesting. I wouldn't think it would be too difficult. It is just a matter of measuring those turn signals. Are you thinking flat fendered KJ?

The biggest problem is that the turn signals need to also be on the sides as well
or at least in LA they do

I think that when guys go with tube fenders on their TJ's and YJ's they use an LED front and a little small LED rectangle in the hood

I have had that same thought. The two problems I forsee are the turnsignals on the side and the part of the grill right below the fender would look funny. I chopped my fender right below the turn signal and it looks great. I am glad I went that route instead.

If you do some searchs on the Jeep Liberator that may help, but they had some custom flares made which helped.

Here are some pics to show you what you're up against.

Honestly, if any of the products were produced off the Liberator I would have an offroad rig. Like the bumper, lift, projectors...etc.
