Post subject:  Gurgling sound up front?

I've got a strange gurgling sound that appears to be coming from the right front end. It seems to have just come up in the past couple of days. I don't notice it all the time, but when I do hear it, it happens when I accelerate from a stop. It sounds like something's sloshing back toward the passenger compartment from the engine or suspension. I don't hear it when I stop, which seems odd. If it sloshes when I start it ought to slosh back the other way when I stop. It sounds sort of like half-melted ice sloshing around in a cooler, which is what I thought it was the first time it happened. The A/C has been on whenever I hear it. Maybe I'll try shutting off the a/c and see if it still happens.

I've done a search of the forum and only found something related to a sunroof problem, but I don't have a sunroof. Anybody have any ideas?

It's a 2002 limited 4WD, unlifted, with 130K miles on it.

My thoughts exactly. You need to locate the drain hole and clean out the debris that can enter into the A/C and heater core case.

I hear the same thing, but only when I accelerate. It feels like roof or underbody has a huge tank that runs from front to end, and there is some liquid in it. When I start moving forward, feels like that liquid slowly travels to the rear..... :) shhhhhrrrrrr
