I've got a good deal of clunking in the front end. I installed Rusty's 2.5 not too long ago, so I just went in there and tried to tighten some stuff up. Everything seems tight.

Could this bushing be the problem? I know its common, but I dont know what a good one or a bad one looks like.

Thanks in advance.

The sway bar bushings shouldnt cause a 'clucking' noise. They are usually a rubbing type noise.

Be sure to check the upper and lower sway bar endlinks. Mine was clunking and it ended up being those.

Other than that, idk..

We've ran into some caravans at the shop that rattled and you could have sworn it would be the links, but after replacing both sides to no avail,we found it to be the bar mount bushings in your pic.To be sure you need to remove the whole bar and slowly drive it thru some bumps that usually cause the noise. If your not up to removing the bar,you could unbolt the brackets, remove these bushings, and pack them with grease inside and out.Don't be tight with the lube....pack them as full as you can.If the noise ceases, you may need to eventually replace them.

Thanks guys. I tightened the links again, and it seems to have stopped for now. I'll keep an eye/ear out on those bushings too.

Thanks again for the help.
