Went down and got it inspected today, Ill wait till friday to get my new plates........get more for my money that way. Stupid sunroof really took alot of timel I'm going to have a word with the Napa guy about the paint, the color match is just nowhere near close enough. Im going to wait until I get better matching paint to colorsand it.

Otherwise just a few things to finish up with, we are going to jury rig the sunroof up into the sealed position and leave it untill I can figure what to do about it.

This morning when I filled the tank it was blowing smoke pretty good, after driving it a little that stopped, I figure I musta been blowing out oil that had run around in the intake when it went turtle. Otherwise is seems to be driving pretty good, making some clunking noise that I want to track down, and it feels like it could use an alignment.

But man, that diesel pulls nice, we got some rain today, just give it some gas from a stop was able to break the tires loose, now the tires Im sure are crappy, but still, it scoots, gotta love that torque.

She's come a LOOOOONG way from where you got her at. You plan on fixing the other dents and dings in her? or were you just going to get it driveable and then hand it over to the parents to fine tune as they like???

Good job otherwise...

Great job
I'd add that before next winter and maybe before - you might want to upgrade the tires - I suspect the stockers were the reason it rolled - they're great for mileage and or breaking'em loose - but they're marginal in rain and I suspect worthless in snow
(I never tried that)

Yes, I would like to go ahead and get new ones now, but damm if we havent spent enough cash in the past 2 months. Some other things like that will need to wait.

Wow! Nice job! Thanks for putting the before and after picts in the same thread!

Sorry the color-match came out so bad. Nice application of the paint though.
