| Post subject: | Brake/Caliper Question |
Not how sure how realistic this would sound. I came across a set of srt 8 calipers, rotors, brakes..etc whole deal for a freakin steal. Now I am wondering if this if any chance in hell could work on the jeep here. I know that the jeep srt8 has 20 inchers on it so may be to big. Correct me if I am wrong the KJ has 1 piston calipers? As these have 4 piston can any one tell me if this would work or no if not my wifes mother has a Laredo that could have them. Hoepfully some one can help me thanks. |

There's probably not enough room between the inner rim to allow for all of those parts to fit on the Liberty. Things you would need to come up with if it would: 1) A way to adapt the Liberty mounting bracket to the SRT Caliper (bolt on plate?) 2) Much larger brake booster to help move the fluid 3) Adjustable proportioning valve to get the pressures correctly distributed between the front and rear 4) ABS recalibration (if you have it?) |
