Any vehicle sold in CANADUH is required to have DRL's. So yes there is the capability but it's disabled for the USA folks. Eh? |

Can we enable it? If so how can it be done without buying any aftermarket gizmos? I always have my lights on and just wait for them to turn off by themselves. |

I saw an old post on this. I don't think it was feasible if I remember correctly with the stock wiring and little work (I assume that's the way you'd want to go However there are companies that sell aftermarket boxes to do this but they are a couple hundred $$ if I recall. |

Need the export(or Canadian) BCM then you can put in a fuse and it should work. Why would you want DRL anyway? It's one of the most annoying things I've ever seen, plus it shortens the life of your headlamp bulbs.

If I remember correctly on earlier KJs this was not difficult. About $70. Go to the dealer and order the relay, about $30. When you get it plugged in go to the dealership and have them reset the country code to indicate Canada. 1/2 hour labor to do that and I think you were set. |
