Someone posted over 100k, you may research Dodge trucks also as they have the same 3.7L motor.

I'm about 200 miles short of clicking 89K on my 02'....still runs great. Keep up on simple maintenance tasks (Oil Changes, checking fluids, replacing wear items) and take care of the vehicle and it will continue being dependable and last just that much longer.

My '02 has 121,000 and still runs as well as ever.Water pump at 60K or so.Fan clutch at 12K,deep mud hole with slimy silty mud.Not the Jeeps fault.Replaced the serpentine belt (maintenance, not failure) around 60K and due for another soon.Always synthetic oil and a good filter. And believe me my KJ hasn't been babied.

I'm at 81. Gone through two stock radios and am on my third master cylinder. Still love it and wouldn't trade it. There's a guy here in town with a 2002 with 140k on his.

I believe WidowMaker(posts mostly in the CRD section) is the guy's screen name that has a '02 KJ with over 200,000 miles and if I remember correctly it only had the tranny rebuilt and nothing else major.
