| Post subject: | Which Repair Manual? |
I saw the 2007 Jeep factory cd/rom service manual on Ebay for about $75. Should I get one of those or one of the Haynes paper manuals? I won't be doing anything high-tech since I have no mechanical experience, but I thought I would start learning, and trying to fix my own if it ever needs it. |

The factory manual would be the best. The Haynes is pretty good for the basics. Buy both, that's what I did. |

I'm in the same boat as you and actually asked this question about a week ago, so I can't offer any advice... But, I just got my Hayne's manual in the mail from Amazon (~$17) and it looks like it will cover anything I'd be willing to try out on my own, so you may want to start there first. |
