I asked this in another thread, but it got buried somewhat... I just got this code on my KJ. We're having to get a new transmission in our other car (it goes into the shop on Monday), so the KJ is all we have right now. How imperative is it that the KJ goes into the shop? The check engine light was only on for about 30 miles/1 hour of driving and has been off for about 2 weeks now. |

Well if my thinking is correct,I think that blower motor 2 comes on with AC request to cool the refrigerant while it's in a high pressure liquid stage.If this is the case you could keep the AC and defrost modes off until you can trouble shoot the cause of the code.I work on so many makes and models,and blower motor 2 is usually for extra cooling while AC is on. You could do a general search on your Yahoo or Google browser and probably come up with the answers you need. Or I could do some browsing on ALLDATA monday when I return to work. Ron |
