Hi folks, I will be installing a brake controller on our 2006 Liberty CRD in the next few months. Our KJs do not come with a brake controller pigtail under the dash (thanks DCX!), but maybe we could add one? Heck, if you're going to need to install four wires, why not install them into a pigtail connector like the Rams/Dakotas/bigger Jeeps have, then any old brake controller can plug into it? The toughest part of this would be finding the OEM female connector which I'd need to wire up on the vehicle side. Once that's in, every brake controller in existence has Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep pigtail connectors which would plug right in. Is it time to go 'yarding to look for an OEM-side pigtail? Or is there a better source for this? - Chris |
