I want to buy a roof rack. How is the Mopar one? http://www.autotrucktoys.com/liberty/Mo ... 7C513.aspx And what about those lights that can mount to it? Any other good ones out there? |

if you do a seach for "roof rack' or "roof basket' there is a long thread regarding them, including pics. my vote is for the mopar... which can be modded with Thule parts |

if you go with Mopar #M82209365, check out www.sporttrack.com Its the company that makes the Mopar basket. Its $200.00 CDN If you don't go with the siderail mounting system you could could not make U bolt brackets, because the basket does not reach the rails. If you get the Mopar one, the brackets are rugged enough to mount lights, highlift, or other stuff, plus its wide enough for my Old Town Discovery 169! For me the price of the Mopar basket (with mounting hardware) was worth it. If I had the cross members I would have gone with the sporttrack basket and made Ubolt's to fit... |
