Check these out:Pulstar Plugs
and let me know what you all think. To me the gains may not be all that beneficial for $25/plug=$150 just for spark, er excuse me, PULSE plugs... I'm rather leary about introducing up to 10% more compression into my cylinder. Can they handle it? Will my pistons or rings implode? Lot's of what if's...Let's hear what you all have to say about it. I know there is an ASE certified mechanic on here (sorry, forgot your user name  ), so I'd be interested in hearing from you especially. THANKS!!

Rip off,you can't increase compression by just changing plugs, you need major internal mods to do that.Stick with AutoLites or NGK's and get all 6 plugs for less then $12.

Snake Oil claims!

Stick with NGK

I agree! Shave the heads if you want a compression increase.

I think you missed the point of the ad
It appears they're saying that the plugs burn the fuel more efficently giving more pressure on the down stroke - not the initial compression.
Although they say they have a capacitor? inductor? in the plug that results in the better combustion - capacitors I believe - Inductors I don't.

There was some data on older vehicles that a capacitor plug would increase power - normally because older vehicles (20+years ago) had much weaker ignition systems that new ones - although you can induce the same effect with hi-performance mod's.

Basically the sales pitch is the same that MSD has made for it's ignition systems for a long time - but MSD is a complete ignition system - not a spark plug.

Computer simulations are nice - but I like real data before I make a decision - and I didn't see that.

The MSD box's are nice, they create multiple sparks in one firing stroke for better combustion(only under 3000rpm).I don't believe that tech can be in a plug by itself, the MSD box is not small.Adding a capicitor will do nothing on modern engines, they have all the power they need from the newer coils, older engines, yes, you may see an increase due to lower voltage coils.

Speaking of plugs - I'm about to change mine.
