I am doing a break job tomorrow. Can anyone recall the size wrench I need for the Bleeder valve, and the two large bolts to take the caliper off of the knuckle? thanks! |

Depending on when your '04 KJ was built it's going to be 3/8" or metric(maybe 10mm),they changed to metric bleeders sometime in the '04 model year. The caliper bolts are 12mm and the calipher mount braket bolts are like 21mm(pretty sure,it's been awhile).
thanks! |

I don't know either, been a while... but just a little FYI... a lot of socket sets don't come with an 18mm. Don't ask me!! One of the most popular sizes for automotive. So, if you don't have a real good (or even if you do) make sure you have an 18mm. I don't know if you need it for that or not... I know to do a lift job you do. NEway, just so you're ready ahead of time. FYI! Peace out ahah |
