ok so whats the differences between the different years of manufacture on the Rubicon Moab rims i have seen that the rims from the 06 model has a lip compared to the others

the other question is there a certain year more desirable than any other ?

I believe the newer wheels (07' and above) are 17". The older ones are 16" and fit the liberty very well after the pinch weld is beat down. Not sure how the newer ones would fit or look....but they also come with BFG MT/s instead of the Goodyear Wrangler MT/Rs

Alot of people look for 06' wheels or lightly used 04'/05' for the better condition. Keep your eyes peeled...you may find a set of older wheels that have never been used offroad and are in mint condition.

They made them in two different finishes, machined and silver powder coat. I have the 06 powder coated rims. I like them because of the lip you were refering to. The machined rims are harder to come by and I think they scratch to easy.

The '07s are also a different bolt pattern from what we have.

and I think the new BFGs are 32s, so youd want to watch out for that anyway.
