I live on a dirt road and got tired of replacing the drop in filter, so I got a Afe system. I run the same one on my dodge diesel and love it. I'm not looking for any performance gains just being able to clean the filter eaiser. I also freed up some room under the hood so I might design some brackets for an OBA stsyem.

I've got the same setup, works good for me to.Though I switched to a AEM dryflow filter for better filtering.

:? Put a filter over your filter so that it will actually filter?! :?

I'm dissapointed in You Korey.  You could go w/ a Amsoil EA series that you can clean and it will actually filter w/out the outerwear cover or oil.

What size and style is the AFE filter?

Now tell us more about the OBA setup. See ya in Big Bear!

BTW, Still waiting for the phone to ring, or are you going to order through All J?

Sorry there. I'm in with afe and got a freebe.. Defently calling you direct for all my oil needs. In fact I am working on my moms jeep right now. Need engine oil, manual trans, t case oil. Shoot me a pm with some $ #.
As for the OBA, I just started to look at doing it. The hard part is the wife drives it and time with it is short. But i'm thing of using a sanden pump.

No worries. PM sent!
Steel that KJ and get busy! I am still surprised that Wally hasn't gotten someone to figure out how to mount an engine driven compressor in his KJ yet.

Engine driven onboard air would be sweet. I broke down and bought a Viair 550C, but would trade it instantly for an engine driven York
