I know nothing about brakes, but I noticed my front rotor has a goove cut into it.
The other rotors are groove-free.
Looks like something has been cutting into it.
Is this anything I should have looked at, or is it normal?

Looks like you got a small rock wedged between the pad and rotor to put the groove in it.It happened to me,left front PowerSlot rotor has a nice groove all the way around.Take the wheel off and make sure the rock is not in there anymore(warrenty if you have less then 10,000 miles on the ODO) and drive on.

I have to stop by the dealer tonight. Do you think I should have them look at the rotor?

I talked to them on the phone and the guy said it shouldn't be a problem unless I notice a vibration or pulling to the side when braking. If I don't notice anything he said the rotor will eventually just wear down and become even again after a while.

The groove just looks like if you took the tip of a nail and held it there for a while when the rotor was spinning. Not real deep, but easily noticeable when looking at it.
