Ours used to be in the auto section near the oil and such but they moved them out to the tire center a few months ago.

Thanks for your quick replys.
In the morning I was wondering if I was gonna need a new battery, and by the afternoon I had no choice. I guess 113 degrees kind of forces the issue. My stocker cracked/melted today.
I ended up finding a red top at AutoZone 1000ft away from where my old battery bit the dust. $160+ tax. Not great, but conveinent!

Oh well, it was a planned future upgrade anyway.

Do Optima batteries fit in the stock battery tray? Is it an easy swap? My battery's putting out less than 300CCA, and I want to replace it soon. If getting an Optima requires major surgery, I'll stick with a Die Hard or Mopar battery since I get coupons in the mail all the time.

They have the smaller Optima's that fit right into the battery tray,I run the bigger group 34 Optima yellow top,had to cut one side of the battery tray(closest to the fender, just the raised edge of the battery tray) off for it to fit width wise(length wise was fine).Did this back in '02 when I first put a red top in and no problems since.

The group 34 I purchased dropped right in w/o trimming. Maybe 04s are slightly different? Mine is the Red top though... That probably is the difference.?
