pre lowered?!

what is the date that jeeps were lowered?

or in other words, what are the manufac. dates of the pre lowered ones?

Sometime in early 02, April I think. Just do a search there are tons and tons of posts on this....

After april 2002. There are some Half lowered too where they changed only the front springs.

i tried doing searchs, but the engine on this site honestly is kinda trash to find what your looking for.. so thanks guys!

So if your Jeep was built on April 12th 2002 you could have either set of springs... I bet that would make a dealer go crazy trying to do a spring replacement (if a Liberty got into an accident or something)

It wouldn't matter anyway,you can not get the pre-lowered springs anymore,only the lowered ones.Unless you snag them out of a wrecked pre-lowered KJ.

That blows! When I do my suspension / engine overhaul at 100K I'll have to go the OME route.

No way am I lowering my Liberty... Geez
