If you want the best go with Line-X,the whole interior of the pentagon is lined with Line-X for bomb protection so you know it's good.Spray-on bedliners are a "you get what you paid for" type of thing.

Yea I agree you will have to go all the way if you want it to come out right. I did hours of prep work on mine sanding and masking and cleaning with acetone. The more effort you put in the better it will come out. Apply with brush or roller for max thickness.

Herculiner is really good for the money. I put it in the bed of my Ranger and hauled all sorts of stuff that I was sure would scratch it pulling it in and out. no problems at all. Great stuff.

I've got Herculiner in the bed of my F350 and Line-X on the tailgate. I've damaged them both, but can tell you the Line-X wins hands down for toughness. Plus I think Line-X comes with a lifetime warranty.

Arlington, VA. (February 17, 2003) -LINE-X Franchise Development Corporation (LFDC) announced today that it has completed phase one of its Bomb Blast Protective coating application at the Pentagon. The project included over 16,000 sq ft on. Exact specification are considered "for official use only", however the U.S. Department of Defense selected its proprietary coating to protect the Pentagon in the event of another terrorist attack. According to Pentagon sources, LINE-X began applying the coating on the Pentagon at 12:30pm November 26, 2002.

Could the LINE-X product save lives at the Pentagon in the event of another terrorist bombing? “Absolutely” said Scott Jewett, General Manager of LFDC. “Recent Air Force tests on the coating confirm that the XS350 polymer actually prevents concrete from breaking apart in an explosion.”

“Terrorist attack is one of the biggest threats of the new millennium, greatly surpassing the likelihood of world war,” continued Jewett. According to the Air Force study, “one of the greatest threats from terrorist bombing comes from fragmentation – pieces and fragments… flying at high speed… resulting in injury and death.” The LINE-X coating has been proven by the Air Force Research Laboratory to significantly “reduce fragmentation.”

LINE-X is currently being considered for numerous government, public and military buildings. LINE-X will be testing a number of uses and applications of the XS350 product including the protection of buildings and the significant reductions of fragmentation during an earthquake, tornado or hurricane.
