Welcome to L.O.S.T. phoenixbird.....I'm thinking that if you could get the search feature to work, you could type in "Daytime Running Lights"and maybe find some old post on this topic. Some say that theres more to it than just a relay, but with my pearsonal experiences working on cars for a livin' I did'nt have enough interest in having them cause I see that GM holds the record for Altenator and battery replacement due to running them 24-7.If you can just think "Saftey" it's better to just turn them on if you need them rather than overworking the electrical circut.Enjoy the set-up you have now, cause later we might not have the freedom to choose.

I saw my first liberty that had DT running lights the other day. They were very dim and non of the tail lights were on so I knew it was DT lights.. Just caught me off guard. :)

In canada, its law to have DTRL. Mine are very dim.

You can buy relay kits here from parts stores to make any car have DTRL. They sell them because due to regulations, alot of cars we import (like from USA & Japan) now have to have DTRL.

Never tried the DTRL swap. It's habit for me to flick the parking lights and fog lights on right when I get in the truck.
