Anyone know how to remove the plastic on the interior of the swing gate? I want to check on my rear-wiper motor, my spare tire mount bolts and whatever is back there. When driving, there's an annoying rattle coming from the swing gate and I want to at least see if I can do something to help/fix. Any help on how to remove and reinstall that plastic interior piece of the swing gate would be greatly appreciated! :D

I was told once by a smart man that there are a series of clips along the perimeter of that piece. You can start near the latch area and pop them with a little bare hand force, or with a long screw driver.

I never did get around to popping mine off to fix a hole in the plastic...

yeap plastic clips is all. just lightly pull at the edges and it's easy to see where they are at. if you pull straight up/out where the clip is, it will reduce the chaces of it breaking. Pulled the plastic off mine multiple times without any problems.
