Hi,

My dealer 'offered' to change my pads & rotars for $500 beans. I have done disc brakes before (pretty easy for the most part) on other vehicles. Are there any surprises on a KJ?

Is there a good place to get rotors & discs online for the Libby?

Thanks,
Rich

I believe they are very straight forward. Take the caliper off and the bracket(front only) then the rotor comes off if its not rusted on.

Napa is a good place to get rotors and pads from. I personally like organic or ceramic pads. :)

You can get power slots or brembo rotors from tirerack.com. They also have ceramic pads..

Ohh, WELCOME TO LOST!! :D

Thanks for all the replies! I was curious what the closest brand to OEM would be?

Its strange, the cheaper brands (30 dollar discs) seem to only have fronts, no rears. Any ideas if cheaper companies (such as PBR) offer a rear disc?
