Need some advice from the lost crowd...My 06 kj has a whopping 7,300 miles on her. Today my rear passanger window crapped out. The kick in the butt...This will be the FOURTH one to go bad in 13 months!!! When I bring it to the dealer, they simply say the reg is bad and replace it.

I have taken the kj to two dealers and they both claim that random chance is to blame on the poor regs. Could there be something different wrong? Any input from the lost crowd???

Lemon law on a window?

Have you tried a different dealer? Seems to me like that dealer may be screwing it up if you are having them break that often..

That is the only reason I have had my '06 in to the dealer:rear window repair. My cable got kinked up or some such thing? I do not think that they replaced my reg though...good luck...

I'm thinking that the odds of 4 window regulators going bad in 13 months is a little strange. Since the introduction of the cable type window regulators,I've probably installed close to a hundred of them, and most of them that have been replaced more than once, have had track or guide misadjustments.Something is causing undo stress on this particular door, now all you have to hope for is that they find it soon before it drives you crazy,or out of warranty.
