It looks like I need a 12mil allen wrench or something for the one and maybe even a 13 or a 14 for the other :O Any one have any idea what I need here?

Why didn't they make all the plugs the same?

Grrrrrrrr

Really not sure on sizes. I winged it and got lucky but don't recall what I used. If I had a manual trans KJ I would figure it out.

Make sure you take your KJ w/ you and I bet they will let you run in and out of the store w/ different sizes to make sure they fit. At least I know my local store would.

Funny, bought some at HF today myself. I actually went in to buy a 17MM 1/2" socket I needed for installing my skids, or a 3/8" torque wrench (Yes, of course I bought both. They were on sale after all!!!!! ). While there I picked up a set of metric hex sockets. $10 for 3/8" - 4,5,6,7,8,10mm think the next set added three 1/2" sizes larger for $16.99.

If you have the nsg 370 6 speed, it takes 17mm for the drain, and 14 mm for the fill. These hex sockets are cheap at autozone.

Good luck....fun, easy project that shows positive immediate results.

On an 03 5-speed both plugs are the same size 17mm.
