I have a pretty bad shudder, mainly in overdrive in between speeds of 40-55 mph, it does seem to go away at higher speeds, but not entirely. So far i've checked my fluid level, checked the rear end fluid for metal, checked the u-joints. So i really don't know what else it could be other than the torque converter at full lock? any suggestions, its the 42RLE |

thats because the transmission doesnt like to downshift a gear so when its in o/d at that speed, the rpms are very low and if you try and give it a little gas it trys to move the vehicle faster in that gear. Thats why they dont recommend towing in o/d because its only meant for cruising, not to accelerate. Give the gas a quick tap when you trying to accelerate while its in o/d, it usually kicks down a gear. Its like trying to get moving in a standard if you start in 2nd or 3rd from a stop instead of first. |

its actually while holding a constant speed I'm thinking i need to check my rear end out, because it was rebuilt in the spring, kind of feels like its coming more from the booty end rather than the center anyway. |
