i can small plastic when i turn on my blower motor, where exactly is the blower motor on a 2004? I have noticed on the site that there were recalls for some years but not for 04 for hvac. Could it be possible that my blower motor is faulty too? |

What kind of plastic smell? Like burned plastic or just regular old insturment panel plastic? The blower motor is behind the glove box. You can drop the box by releasing the two side tabs and sliding the box off its hinges. Although, there's not too much room to inspect anything from there. To check for recalls, go to the Jeep website and under the for owners tab you can check over the internet for outstanding recall information. Just punch in your VIN. |
