There have been a couple of individuals with specific Turbo problems - replaced under warranty It's not a general issue - and Jinstall's in Germany and regularly drives over 100mph - without problem (although the mileage gets progressively worse the faster you go - aerodynamically it's a box) |

other than that ,the crd is great at off roading ,havent had any problems[let me knock on some wood] only thing i was thinking ,maybe the person who had before me who lived in a city, didnt do much driving ,didnt breakin at hight speeds, not looking for fast here, only if could, let it be comfortable at hight speeds overtaking and on motorway, not feel like its having hard time, |

The turbo doesnt need any special service that I know of. There are several things I would recommend to check. First is the MAP sensor it probably needs cleaned if you havnt done that yet. There are instruction in the CRD FAQ. Do you hear any excessive air noise from under the hood...especially during hard acceleration? I am thinking that perhaps you are losing boost somewhere. Perhaps a split hose or leaky intercooler? |

Go the CRD Tech section, lots of info in there, also do a search for the word MAP Its on top of the engine near the firewall. attached by one hex head bolt. I clean mine everytime I change the oil. The first time I cleaned it was at 28K and it was fouled badly. Not sure how the PCM was sensing boost. Cleaning it made a noticable difference in performance and fuel mileage. |
