And Im trying to figure out what layout to use. The basic idea is a pass name with the altitude, white vinyl cut sticker to be placed against the factory tinted windows. Heres what I have in mind so far:
Any ideas or comments? |

I like the second one of each (small elevation, not all caps.) |

That broken up fon't wouldn't work well with a vinyl cutter, but otherwise that's a great idea! Let me know if I can help you with getting those produced. I own my own machine now so I can be preety competetive with the price! |

I suspected as much, I was also thinking of some clean font with the same basic information. Then when messing around with fonts last night I saw that and loved it. How badly wouldnt it work? maybe there is a happy medium, but I like the somewhat agressive look of that font. Im still playing around though..... |

I like alternative #2, the one with elevation underneath the pass name. Mixed case is fine. I'd prefer the elevation text to be larger size (50% of the pass name). I love the distressed typeface Make one for: Papoose Flat, Death Valley Elevation 6,800ft |

Personally, in order of preference: 1 (the "elevation" text underneath "pass" gives it the mental image of being lifted up, and aligning text baseline/ascender makes for clean read) 12 (distressed, but not too much, should be OK) 14 20 8 (clean, easy to read) Eventhough I like 1, it's going to be hard to cut (and read from distance) because the text are condensed and closed together. You might have to kern them so there is more separation between letters to aid reading. The rest of the typefaces don't do anything for me ... 10/11/16/17/23/24 are overused mostly in restaurants. 18/19 are Microsoft wackjobs |

Though when I saw the cracked font I thought it looked cool. The cracked font might be better for a bumper sticker though. This font style was what I originally had in mind:
