So I just got home little while ago from renting a movie
when I was returning to the KJ with my selection I was approached by some
"punks" who said
"Your liberty looks cool but you can't realy take that mall crawler out on a trail"
Now having my whits about me I noticed that they were walking from a brand new
JK 4 door 2wd
so I in as nice a way as I could pointed out the badge on the rear door that looks like this 4X4
I stated
"mall crawler? realy"
"well lets see it has this (point to 4X4 badge)"
"it has these (point to MTR's)"
"oh and it is lifted ,now can you say the same?"
"I thought not"

What the hell is wrong with kids these days?

everything...i got the same thing from a guy at work who owns a beat to hell 4 runner bone stock and bald tires. Mine maybe stock but i got some some good tires for trails and all the rock rails and skid plates. garuntee i could go a hell of a lot farther then him into a trail.

But dont worry about it, you know yourself what that thing is capable of, dont need some punks to tell you otherwise

As the old saying Goes "They are Young and Foolish and No Not What They SAY". But yes it would be fun to offer a little game of follow the leader. And tell them every time they get stuck they have to, pay you ten bucks, It's amazing how when it comes to putting the money where the mouth is all you hear is Mumbling  :-)r :-)r

Invite them for a trail ride :D That's what I'd do if they were driving something less capable than my KJ. Proof is a really shocker

I ran into a lifted rubicon and a lifted tj at a gas station in upstate PA near my uncles house. They didn't say anything but they were eying my piece up. The rubicon was f'in sweet!!

I got a compliment from a local police officer near my work about a month ago. He stopped me as i was walking into wawa. He said is that thing lifted? Said he had an XJ with 31"s on it. We b/s'd for a few mins. I thought he was looking to give me a ticket for tinted windows but he didn't even care. He was more curious as to how i fit the mtr's on there. :D

And coming from someone that bought a 2wd wrangler. You need at least 2 brain cells to spark a thought. Don't pay attention to people like that.

You made me spit on my keyboard!!

I used to get that reaction too. It's amazing of the looks I get now with my Magnaflow. I don't even step on it. Just normal driving. Ok....maybe I'll just 'barely' tap the gas but that's it. I do need a lift and steel bumper!!

You seriously should have invited them to go wheeling with you and then enjoyed pointing and laughing while they can't figure out why the front tires wont grab like yours do.

they sound like the offroad equivlent of a tuner kid. they'd probably rip all the runnin gear out of the thing trying to prove it wasn't absolutley useless but they'd lose anyway, screw em.

Maybe they hang around the Maine Mall with all the other teeny boppers, where the security outfit does use Libertys for parking lot patrol.

I love it when people are Blind to their own ignorance. People like that do not bother me one bit. I actually feel sorry for them.
