Thinking about getting some air bags for the rear springs. I know that there are few people on here that have them with OME HD rear coils. I have Rustys rear coils and I was wondering if anybody running air bags with those. I need to know which ones to get since the rear springs are not stock anymore. Thanks again guys.
I know there probably won't be any answers on here but I thought I would try anyways.

You need to know the diameter of the inside of the spring I think, jeepjeepster I think has OME rears , but Rustys may be a little smaller? Do some measurements and call Summit Racing they maybe able to help

Tommudd has a good idea. Measure the space between the spring perch and where the bumpstop mounts(See my pics). Also, measure the inside diameter of the rustys springs and give summit a call.

I had rusty's springs (I have since sold them and replaced with OME) . I emailed Air products and told them the inside dimensions of the spring (this was after I already had ordered bags that did not fit the rusty's) and they told me Toyota forerunner bags from 1999 body style. Here is what they sent me "We do have a bag that is 4.35 inches by 6.5, it is the same style bag. If you wanted to used that kit the part number is 60743." Anyways I never ordered them for Rusty's so I can't say if it will work or not, but the bags for OME are great.

Why?

I dont see the need
Are you carring that much stuff?
I carry a full compliment of tools and spare parts along with a 20# CO2 set up (~50#) a Trail Rack and a 31X11.5 LTB
and all this in a TJ with Skycrapper springs out back, OH and most time a med. size ice chest with drinks on the rack

I could maybe see the need if you had something like a Comander or a Grand and were pulling a TJ on a trailer
but on a KJ with OME HD's?

I say to save the money ,wich seems to be burning a hole in your pocket, and buy a locker for the rear

I have them because I loaded my gear for camping for 2 weeks in the rear and had a receiver rack packed to the gills and I was noticably lower in the back (that was prior to switching to OME springs). The bags are like 70 bucks and it allows me to control the height and makes the ride a lot smoother with a load

Thanks JDaPP! I measured the springs this weekend and will give them a call and see what they say. Thanks again to all you guys.

Oh and the reason I want them is to fix my little leaning problem.
