wow, that really looks cool. Reminds of those dogs in the alps, what were they called? you know, the beethoven-dog type with a canteen of booze..

The Liberator has a huge decal on the tail gate. Maybe this will help you get an idea of size/perportion.

Wow! a Less useful jeep, cool!

In reality I had wondered what a short wheelbase 2dr KJ would look like, might be cool.

Poodles. No, wait, St. Bernards. Or, after they've visited you, Shaint Bern-hic-nardsh.

A guy who lives across the street from me has a cherokee all modded up for mountain rescue. It looks really cool(red too), but I havent ever been up close to it, so I dont know if they hardly spent any money on it or not. The car probably never gets wheeled like it should, but Im not in any position to criticize the mountain rescue guys. They mostly just get people off of cliffs and such when idiots get stuck hiking, rarely do I hear of times when mountain rescue has to go crawl up some rocks in a jeep to get to someone to save them.

Don't those mountain rescue folks use helicopters more than anything?

A panel truck version of the KJ looks great. Taking out the rear doors and side windows makes it look quite different.

Nope, also horses and jeeps are used out west here. Helicopters are good for the extreme backcountry stinky poo but sometimes its hard to land a helicopter everywhere obviously so a jeep/truck is needed for transport to the helicopter

They did not "cut" the KJ up...they just filled in the doors and removed the windows and made the panels,,,wheelbase is the same. I would do it in a heartbeat :!: I think it look perfect...flat cargo floor...with two subfloor cabinets where the rear floor wells were located...

Used to ride around in an old Dodge Panel Truck in Montana with huge running boards. Could just stand on the running boards back then and ride around Butte...

If I remember right there is a panel variant of the Lib in europe and I think it could also be had with a little higher roof also if I remember right. Maybe being a government entity they were able to get one of those. Like the variants built for police etc.

They did make panel cherokees, something about tax laws, so it wouldnt surprise me if they also made panel liberties.

The tube rails are a waste. Why go to two doors? You have less access to the victim when they are in the back. If you kept the rear seats, then how do you get to them with ease?

The convertible I can understand with the two door concept and rear seats.

Is it an actual working vehicle or like those D.A.R.E. cars the fuzz has. all the lights and crap but not really used on the street? Just used to recruit and scare the crap out of kids.

If they did rescue someone they would have to fold them in half to get them in the back.
