Has anyone ever noticed that the air vents in the KJ are the same as those found in the Viper? Take a look!

haha Maybe so! I just thought it was kind of interesting. I mean, it's not every day that you find out your Jeep shares parts with one of America's top sports cars. :o

I think the last K-car part ever used in a production car was also used in the last-gen Viper.

I want the gauge cluster to the right of the wheel

as far as fast goes they are not
my brother had a beater 5.0 with 4.10's street slicks and NOS and spanked the pants of of a viper NOT even close
by near 2 car lengths and the 5.0 had over 140K on it
and it had 2 people in it
the owner of the viper said
"you may want to drop the passenger to keep things more even"
my brother
"it wont even be a race"

Got to love NOS

Personally I'm a Corvette guy, but the '08 Vipers can outdrag Z06s. Believe me, they're fast.

The vents on KJ is classified as "Sports Car A/C Vents" so when you are buying accessories that go on the vents, you cannot buy if it says "These are not compatible with sports car a/c vents"

;)

Either you didn't get "it," or that was a way wittyer reply than I give you credit for.

Actually, the interesting thing about those window switches is that they started life with AMC in the cherokee in 84, they continued to be used even when jeep was sold to chrysler, chrysler took them and kept using them, even incorporating them into other vehicles, along about 94 or 95 the switches were redesigned slightly and the housing changed some, they received the biggest update in 97 when they got the lighted in switch LED.

Kinda funny to think that the single switch is a holdover from over 20 years ago when Jeep was owned by another company.

Corvette Z06: 7.0L 505HP 1/4 mile:11.8 sec @ 121.6 mph
Viper SRT-10: 8.4L 600HP 1/4 mile:11.7 sec @ 124.4 mph

For giving up almost 100 HP I think the new Vettes do pretty well! :D

The Viper gives you a little more exclusivity. Everyone in the planet has seen the Z06 on the road. I'm still waiting to see the new Viper running around.

That is why they changed the KJ to the KK, They ran out of surplus Viper AC Vents, radios and power window switches. Needed to change the desing now that the warehouse is out of the parts.

LOL
