Security alarm option

I got my build sheet from the dealership the other day and i have been giving it a good look over and under options i says i have "security alarm"

BUT, when i press the lock key, theres no security light that blinks and if i lock it from the outside and open from the inside, nothing goes off. Anyone else experienced this?

as you saw on my thread about the sentry key, i am also victim to this problem. i think that they were listed as having one, but they really dont. another thing is that the panic feature may be considered an alarm. im just going to go with an aftermarket system altogether

i cant afford an aftermarket alarm. I just take my kj in one day and them look at it and see if it actually has one or not
