How does it look? After our trail ride back in JULY at Twin Arch where I ripped off the bolts to the bull bar while getting stuck in a DEEP mud hole, It is now back on. It looked strange with out the bull bar and the wire harness just hanging there doing nothing but flapping in the wind. |

UM yeah you can not pull from a bull bar like that I can not understand why people remove tow hooks that serve a rurpose to insatll tose things that will leave you well stuck But hay what ever blows your hair back |

I still have my tow hooks. Mine is set off to the side of the hooks about 2 inches on either side. Plenty of room to hook up straps or chains. The reason why it got ripped off was the angle of decent into a soupy deep mud hole and hit a rock pretty hard. |

Great looking KJ. I didn't Know you could still have hooks and a bulbar. I always liked the looks of them but I thought you had to remove the tow hooks to install them and I wouldn't want to remove my hooks.. |

How bad was the install? Thanks man. The light bar cost me 325.00 and the install actually was pretty easy. ( TIME WORTHY). It took me about 2 months before I started the job. Was making sure it was perfict. So one day I decided to do it and get it over with. Took my time and in about 3 hours it was done. AND NEVER LEAKED! |

It all depends on which one you use. I kinda made a retro fit on the bull bar and to hook. took some thinking to get it to both work. |

Funny, when I think of a bull bar I dont think of a hollow piece of bolt on bling from the local Pep Boys that barely has any structural integrity, cant be used as a recovery point, and couldnt even take a small hit from a rock...but thats just me I guess |

It in fact took a real hard hit against a bolder and did not damage to it. I have pulled people with the bar and nothing happened to it. Mine is not one of the thin pep boys local buy. The only reason why it was ripped off during a wheeling trip, was because I did not take my time installing it and used 4 of the 8 bolts that holds it in to place. |
