I don't know how well the aftermarket will embrace the new Liberty, but time will tell. I see an awesome opportunity for Rocklizard Fabrications rear bumper with tire carrier if people buy this thing to go wheeling. I personally would buy one (the KK that is (and Marty's bumper)). In fact, Rocklizard Fabrications can actually increase this vehicle's popularity by addressing one of the big off-road issues the KK has (tire under the vehicle). |

It looks like they've taken the Dodge Nitro and made it a Jeep. Did anyone else notice how the teaser ads for the Nitro made it look huge? I thought it was a full sized SUV, but when I saw one on the street in person I was amazed at how small it was. |

A Nitro was parked outside my apartment the other day and I walked past it and almost barfed. It was so low to the ground, and the front end looks like it has to sneeze or something. |

Maybe, personally as long as the spare under the vehicle doesnt kill clearance I would be happy to have it out of the way, I would rather the spare inside, as it is in the cherokee, than sticking back in the way like it is on the KJ. I know on the rear may seem like an out of the way place, but for my use its more in the way that if it were stored inside. |

(MSN): While the first Jeep Liberty sported an almost cute exterior persona, the 2008 version heads straight for "brute-ute" country with more traditional Jeep lines. So the KJ was cute and not brute? I kinda like the KK, but I will love the KJ more. |

No, its saying the KJ looked cute and rounded which was the most drastic departure in the styling of the jeep lineup to date, whereas the KK returns to more traditional style. |
