This one is where i had to reduce to match the 2.5" tail pipe the clearance here is the same as stock
These two are of the straight pipe.

I think it looks great other than it's useless because of the 2.5" inlet. The CRD probably would profit from the larger diameter. |

I honestly dont loose that much departure. It sits higher than where the stock turn down was at. Its just a few inches longer is all. |

Im lost on your meaning 2.5" is what is stock and a exhaust tip is only for sound. |

Im lost on your meaning 2.5" is what is stock and a exhaust tip is only for sound. The tip isn't for sound, the muffler is, the tip is simply ascetically pleasing. I said this because there is no performance gain by having a huge tip, on the other hand if you had the 5" headers back there would be. |

yea a tip does nothing for sound or performance, its only looks. Now a MUFFLER adds sound. |

Lets place a wager on wether or not a tip does something for sound or not.Ive got a whole pay check saying it does $2000 bucks.Or better yet ill buy you a tip and if it doesent change the sound you give me your paycheck. |
