Anyone else dissapointed with the lack of interior lights. My wife's 03 is extreamly hard to see inside of at night. And I'm thinking of adding interior lighting. Looking at adding two more dome lights. Anyone else done this or does the newer models have more lights.

There are also a couple of lights that mount under the dash available for the footwells too. Also see the following link.http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25559

I think they did add another dome light. But, the one in the center in mine (above the back seat) will not shut off, so I took the bulb out. And yeah, it's pretty lame without it.

My lighting is great except for the rear seat area. Im never back there and no one else is, so I dont mind.

I must say it was stupid to not put a light in the back seat area though.

I too have been hating the fact that Jeep couldn't even install 1 silly light in the back of the center console to at least illuminate the rear foot well area. Which by the way, is where I loose most of my change or spill something and can't find it in the middle of the night.

The front area is well lighted, but man the rear seat area is very dark. Thank goodness for the mag light mounted on my seat.

Mine came with the two front foot well courtesy lights and I added two more to the rear passenger seat foot wells. Here is a link that might help you in adding one on the ceiling.

How long have you had the two in the rear foot wells? I might be interested in doing a small project like that over winter.

They put a light in the rear of the KJ in 05. You can just see the leading edge of it in this pict...

The ones in the front are factory. I recently added the two under the back seats.

Right... I have the front ones too (part of the limited group) but have been thinking about wiring up some sort of footwell lights for the rear area of the Jeep that isn't powered off of the BCM. We will see - I might be too lazy to do it though.
