Man, I can not tell you how many more people notice me on the roads and highways with my DIRTY KJ. When it is clean and shinny, people don't even look. But when I buzz by them and I can barely see out of my side windows though the mud splash they all do a double take at me. Even TJ, YJ, and JK owners give me the thumbs up when I'm DIRTY I LOVE IT! |

They look like they are trying to get into another lane or anywhere away from me so none of my peasant mud gets on the ROYAL CHARIOT! |

I really feel bad for any one who is behind me, specially when I hit bumps and all my dry chunks of mud fall from my skids, and wheel wells. Some times all I see is a dust cloud behind me in my mirror.... |

I got told that my Jeep was too clean after work tonight, by an XJ-owner/coworker. I had to explain that's it's been a couple weeks since I've been wheeling, and felt really ashamed by that fact. But, I have only seen his dirty once. He got it stuck in a good mudhole the first weekend that he owned it, and has been scared to come wheeling with me ever since, so I guess I can't feel too bad. |

Mine is usually "in mud" for a week or two afterwards. A couple weeks ago, it was time to air up, and I lifted the hood to connect the air compressor. The other person exclaimed, "You've been to Moab!" On the underside of the hood, there was still red mud splatter off the fan blade from the sluicy mud puddle on Hell's Revenge. |
