Post subject:  quick question about moabs ( rubicon wheels ) ....
i know moabs wheels come stock with 245/75/16 tires. my question is will the wheels fit on 245/70/16 tires or no? reason is i can get a good deal on the wheels and the 245/70/16 all terrain tires i have on the kj right now are pretty new. ( do not need new tires for awhile but really want rubicon wheels !!!!) thanks for the help!!!!

Seems like someone had ran 245-70s on Moabs but not sure who it was now, it would spread the beads out some and may have extra wear in the center, I think 245-70s call for maybe 7 or 7.5 inch wheel. I am running the 255-70s now with no problems. Actually I just looked at 245-75X16 BFGs ATs and they only call for a 7.5 inch rim :?
since I am sitting here arguing with myself now :? you should be fine! :wink:


I still like the looks of the Moabs on a liberty looks good from the side!
