Thanks! I dropped the cheque off at the dealership, and said to myself: don't look at the salesmen, don't give them any eye contact...just drive away...

Well getting deployed to Iraq in '03 dropped my interest rate to 0%(from 8%) and the bank kept it there until I paid it off :D ,that cut about 1 1/2 years worth of payments off since I kept paying the same amount every month, and that really big re-enlistment bonus helped pay my KJ off to.To bad they wouldn't drop my land payments to 0% percent, but they did drop it to 2%(from 7%) so that helped at least.

Thanks! I phoned my g/f and she just laughed. But after all those payments, I'm not tempted to jump back into another car loan. Besides, I like this Jeep a lot and there's more stuff that needs doing to it!

Snowsport, Congrats. I know your feeling. Just paid mine off last month. I should have had a payment today, so I guess I better stick that in my jeep slushie fund. Front bumpers and all sorts of new toys to spend hard earned money on.

When I paid the TJ off I did a funky little dance
now it is on to the KJ <10 to go and at 0% we are in no rush
this also means that in 11 months the wife gets a new truck and
I get a tow rig

Congrats! I think i have 24 payments left.

Ya know, with all that money you're not spending now...you could take 12, and I could take 12...and I'd give you a beer for each payment you made;)
