I have after-market heating units installed in my cloth Sport seats, driver and passenger. These were installed by the dealer when I bought the Jeep new over 2 yrs ago. These have a hi/low setting toggle switch, both were mounted on the centre console in the space between the window controls and shifter. As of right now my drivers side does not work. Passenger side is all normal. I thought it was a lose connection but all seems fine. HAd the dealer have a tech take a look during its last oil change 2 weeks ago. They said they checked it out, all looked fine to them. It worked for a few days, even though right now weather doesn't warrant using it I kept checking to ensure it was repaired. Eventually the indicator light on the switch started to go deem and eventually went out, again no heat. I have pulled apart the top part of the center console to take a look at the swtiches connections, all seem ok and same under the seat, from what I can see (not that I could tell what connection goes to what exactly :? ). If I fiddle with the connection under the toggle switch, I can get the indicator light to come on, faintly, but again it eventually looses the conection and no more heat.
I'm trying to avoid having the dealer look at it again but that may have to happen. Any advice would help guys. I hope this all makes sense  .

If it's your standard male spade/female connection??? If it is try using needle nose pliers, give a pinch to tighten. If that appears to be the problem. You can check a couple of automotive parts stores they have a trick little sets of connector to replace the old spade set up in fact they are designed to be re-usable and solderless. It's a screw together set up take the cleaned up bare wire slide it in and a little twist the wire is locked in the repeat this with the other mating wire and once you wires are locked in the just twist lock together. For people who are running the risk of being out in the boonies and suddenly having problems, and you can't find a tre with the proper outlet to plug your soldiering gun into they are a very nice thing to have in your tool box. As a matter of fact I just remember their Link.

Even if this doesn't fix your problem it is still real handy in the tool box. Good Luck
